Catch Up

This past Friday was our friend's Megan and Ryland's wedding. We stayed the night in Lehi at Clayton's parents house so that we could drive up to Salt Lake in the morning for their reception. It was beautiful weather, and a beautiful sealing.

After tons of pictures, we went to the luncheon at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. The food was so good, and we loved listening to all the toasts and funny stories about Megan and Ryland. We especially loved listening to Ryland's mom telling everyone that he looked like a tiny lizard when he was a baby. :)

The reception was later that night at a nursery called Cactus and Tropicals.
Clayton was one of the groomsmen and fulfilled all of his duties, including decorating the get away car. But being the nice guy that he is, he left a $5 bill on the dash for a car wash.

On Saturday we went to Stewart Falls. It's a really pretty hike that leads up to a waterfall. The hike is pretty mild, like most children could handle it, and it only took an hour round trip. I would definitely do it again. In fact, when my family comes to Utah this August I am going to suggest that we all go on the hike.

Sunday was Father's day. We spent the evening at Grandma's and Papa's. We ate and talked, then ate some more and talked some more, then talked some more. When it got pretty late we drove to Clayton's parents house to say Happy Father's Day to Scott. We stay and talked for another hour before heading home. It was a late night.

Finals are this week, and so is my last Literature Review. Of all the different kinds of papers, I hate Literature Reviews the most. It's basically a compilation of 10+ research articles on some topic, and you can only explain all the research and how it either refutes or supports each article. I have been trying to get a start on it all day, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I lack the motivation to even start, so I wrote a blog post instead, of course :).
